By Debbie Weaver - Troop #152
Troop 152 has been honored to be a small part of a wonderful organization called Southeast Florida Honor Flight. Honor Flight is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. Veterans (mostly WWII Veterans at this time) are flown to Washington, DC to visit and reflect at their memorial.
The troop welcomes the veteran’s home and they are given a thank you note for their service. The veterans are all so grateful for the girls and all the crowds that come to welcome them back. It’s a patriotic moment not to be missed. If you live near a Honor Flight hub, I strongly recommend taking a trip to support and show gratitude to all our wonderful veterans!!
